The Clemente Wildcats faced off against conference rival Aspira for the final game of conference play on Monday, October 5th at Smith Park. Both teams started the game evenly matched, pressing and creating goal-scoring opportunities on both ends. Aspira was able to keep possession with the Wildcats in their usual counter-attack formation. The half ended with a 1-0 score in favor of Aspira. The second half began with the Wildcats not fully focused, and Aspira was able to score a quick goal after the second minute into the half. The Wildcats fought hard, but were unable to reverse the trend, with a final score of 8-0 in favor of Aspira.
