After only two years of its Robotics Club, the Clemente RoboCats won the Midwest Regional Robotics Competition (sponsored by FIRST).

They proceeded to the National Competition in Atlanta, Georgia.

For its Robotics Club, Clemente partnered with Motorola, who provided two engineers to train Clemente students on robotics construction and operation.
