New House Architecture Competition Winners

Two Clemente students bring home first and second place in the New House Competition Roberto Clemente Community Academy students in the Advanced Architectural Drafting Classes winners of the 2008 New House Competition:
- Design homes for Grandfamilies
1st Grand Prize: Victor Calderon
- Redesign CTA Bus Shelter
2nd Grand Prize: Keitany Reynolds
- Redesign CPS Lockers
Honorable Mention: Jennifer Torres
- City wide Essay Competition Winner
1st Place Winner: Dominique Potts
2nd Place Winner: Keitany Reynolds

Dominique Potts and Reitany Reynolds, Citywide Essay winners, will be traveling to Auburn University's Rural Studios, in Alabama, on June 14th and 15th June, where they will be part of a research project and case study on new home design.

They will also working at Frank Llyod Wright's Taliesin East School, Wisconsin, where they’ll be working on restoration of the structures there.
