Hubbard Street Dancers Dazzle Clemente Students
By Daya StanleyLast night, Clemente took time to feed its culture-loving side by taking students to see the Hubbard Street Dancers at the Harris Theater. Even at the start of the trip, we were dazzled by our ride through downtown Chicago, which is beautiful during the holiday season because of the Christmas lights and trees. Once at the theater, we saw the unique dance styles of the Hubbard Street Dancers.
“I really enjoyed going to this event,” said freshman Estephania Luz. “It was a wonderful and unique experience.” The performances included an interesting blend of ballet, urban dance, modern dance, and a dash of gymnastics. These dances were exceptional because we got to see a mixture of culture and music, which was interesting and meaningful.
