Program Description:
MSTA is a rigorous four-year program of English, math, science, social sciences, and two years of technology that builds a solid foundation for students to achieve the highest standards of academic success in colleges and universities.
Features of MSTA:
1. Project-based learning
2. Partnership with local universities
3. Honors and AP classes
4. College bridge credits
5. Preparation for early university admission and scholarships.
Required Courses:
All MSTA students are encouraged to complete
. 4 years of HS English
. 4 years of HS Math
. 4 years of HS Science
. 4 years of HS Social Science as suggested by the ISBE and the HSTW.
MSTA students can take classes in one of the following minors:
. A minimum of 3 years of a technology
. A minimum of 3 years of medical science.
