Several Clemente students were awarded scholarships on October 27, 2009, through Latino Art Beat. The ceremony took place at Columbia College Chicago, 1104 South Wabash - 8th Floor, at the Film Row Cinema. Clemente High School Students received around $100,000 in all the winning!
Congratulations to Patricia Morales, Althea Harvey, Ribo Espino for being awarded scholarships to Columbia College, and Jessica Rivera for her scholarship to the Illinois Institute of Art. Congratulations also to the art department teachers who prepared our students to fare so well.
