JROTC Supports the 2015 Greek Day ParadesliderTwenty-five JROTC Cadets woke early on a very blustery, cold and overcast Sunday morning in order to report to a 9 AM Cadet-led formation. For some of the Cadets, it followed an even earlier 6:30 a.m. formation the day before to attend orienteer training in one of the many forest preserves 30 miles south of Chicago. Once the Cadets arrived at school on this day, it was time for the senior Cadets to direct and rehearse the actions that they would have to execute during the march, preparing the flags and banners which they would be carrying during the parade, and conducting uniform inspections of fellow Cadets. Promptly at noon, the Cadets boarded the bus for the short trip to Greek Town. Marching into a very stiff head wind with just a hint of rain, the Cadets completed the nearly 2 mile route, representing Roberto Clemente with flying colors.
