The Lady Wildcats played two more games this week versus Westinghouse and Ogden. While the Wildcats came up short in both games, Coach Rezek and his staff are very proud of how hard these young athletes are playing and improving. There are only 4 players on this year’s Varsity team that have played any organized high school basketball.
Special recognition should be given to Hailid DeJesus, Jazline Torres and Mariah Smith for their hard work in practice and in games. They have been a great example for all the 8 freshman on the squad to look up to. Special recognition is also given to Damaya McNeil. Her 20 point performance in Thursday’s loss to Ogden was as hard earned as it was spectacular. Coach Rezek was very proud of all the girls that participated in that game. The ladies were shorthanded due to sickness, but managed to put up a good fight.
