The Sweet & Simple Scholarship is sponsored by UNIGO. It provides financial assistance to high school students who will be furthering their education. Their tagline is “Big Things Come in Small Packages”, which means that even the smallest gifts can have much more value and meaning than a more extravagant gift. Have you ever received something that had a deep meaning to it? Has it ever helped you with something educational wise? This scholarship makes students reflect on what is really important to them.
The requirements for the scholarship are as follows: one must be thirteen years or older to apply, one must be a legal resident of the United States, one must enroll (no later the fall of 2023) in an accredited college/university. The deadline for the scholarship is February 28, 2017. The scholarship is worth $1,500.00, which goes to the college the recipient is planning on attending. There are no GPA or ACT/SAT requirements for this scholarship application. An online, 250-word essay on something received as a gift and why it was meaningful must be submitted.
