Clemente has another Carson Scholar!
Romeo Davila, a Junior IB Diploma Program student at Clemente High School, has been recognized as Clemente’s second Carson Scholar. Carson Scholars are recognized for their high levels of academic achievement and commitment to community and service work. Since the beginning of the Carson Scholar program, more than 2,000 students from across the country have been recognized for their academic and humanitarian accomplishments. Carson scholar winners have gone on to attend over 500 different colleges and universities, and have received more than $4.2 million dollars in additional scholarships to help finance their college education.
Romeo was awarded with a $1,000 scholarship that will accrue interest until the day he graduates from high school to use towards his college education. He will forever be known as a Carson Scholar and has been recognized for his outstanding achievements. A formal recognition ceremony will take place in the next, upcoming weeks to acknowledge the hard work and prestigious achievement that all Carson Scholars exemplify. Congratulations, Romeo!
