GEAR UP Parent College Trip

The GEAR UP parent college trip to Loyola University took place on Thursday, October 16, 2014. The GEAR UP Clemente Parent Team – Lily Vazquez and Jacqueline Young – accompanied eight junior parents and two sophomore parents to the Lake Shore campus. The group received a full admissions presentation along with information about financial aid and scholarship options for their sons and daughters to attend Loyola University.

Parents were very engaged and asked a number of questions about their students’ experience if they chose to attend Loyola, as well as clarifications on the financial aid process. The parents also toured and observed the campus with all of the recent upgrades and new additions. The trip concluded with a hot buffet lunch, sponsored by GEAR UP.
