University Spotlight: Pace University

PacePace University is a private school located in New York City with other campuses in White Plains, Westchester County, Pleasantville, and Briarcliff Manor. Pace offers a variety of both undergraduate and graduate degrees specializing in business, liberal arts, and law. Some of the most popular majors at Pace are: Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Psychology, and Visual and Performing Arts.

According to the Pace University Website, “Pace University has been preparing students to become leaders in their fields by providing an education that combines exceptional academics.” The average class size at the university is 18 students, and a 14 to 1 student-faculty ratio. This means that students get more hands-on experience in their overall academic understanding and experiences.

At present, Pace University’s yearly tuition is $39,747 (2014-15). Fortunately, the school offers both academic and additional scholarships for many of its students. In addition, Pace University also offers internship and work-study programs to help cover the cost of tuition while also building work experience.

Some interesting fun facts about Pace University include its notable alumni. James Quinn, the former president of Tiffany & Co.; Ivan Seidenberg, the former CEO of Verizon Communications Inc.; and culinary guru Rachael Ray all attended Pace University.
