Roberto Clemente Community Academy provides students with a rigorous, authentic, and culturally rich high school experience. In addition to our International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, we offer a variety of courses in Advanced Placement (AP), Career Technical Education (CTE) and Dual Credit (DC).
IB at RCCA
All 9th and 10th grade students participate in the IB Middle Years Programme, consisting of instruction within the IB framework, community service, and the Personal Project. An honors option is available for those who are ready for accelerated coursework in preparation for the IB Diploma Programme.
Athletics & Clubs have been a rich part of RCCA since the institution’s earliest days. We believe that participation in athletics forms a vital part of the overall educational experience for all of its students.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) gives high school students the chance to get a head start on preparing for college and careers. In CTE programs you will learn how core school subjects like math, science and writing are used in real-life. As a CTE student you have the opportunity to participate in hands-on training in your chosen program and gain real world experience through job shadows and internships. Many programs offer you the opportunity to earn nationally recognized certifications which you can use to get a job, that will help you pay for college, or start off your career straight out of high school!
